History: | The Employment Services Agency (or ESA) was established within the Manpower Services Commission in 1974. Although it was established as a statutory body, it operated as a division alongside the Training Services Agency. In July 1978, activities and services relevant to assisting people through training and assistance were transferred to the Training Services Division. The ESA came to an end as a separate body on 31 March 1978, when it was integrated as an official division within the Commission. |
