History: | Married secretly to King Henry in July 1540, and acknowledged in August. A statement of her former intimacy with Henry Mannock and Francis Dereham given to the king 2 Nov 1541. All persons supposed privy to her misconduct imprisoned; Dereham sentenced to death. She was taken to the Tower and beheaded 13 Feb 1542. |
