History: | Augustus Frederick D'Este, Duke of Sussex, (born 27 Jan 1773) was the sixth son of George III. Married Augusta Murray (1768-1830), second daughter of John Murray, fourth Earl of Dunmore, in Rome, April 1793, and again at St George's, Hanover Square in Dec 1793. Marriage declared invalid in August 1794. Two children: Augustus Frederick D'Este (1794-1848) and Augusta Emma Madillene D'Este (1801-1866). |
