History: Independent Dance is an artist-led organisation which provides specialist training to contemporary dance artists. It was established in 1990 and has the longest running daily training programme in contemporary dance in the UK. It is co-directed by Gill Clarke and Fiona Millward and is now based at the Siobhan Davies Studios in London, having first been established at the Holborn Centre for Performing Arts, London.
