History: | The church was originally a school attached to the church at Bishopsworth. It was adapted for use as a mission church to St. Francis, Ashton Gate and in 1902 became a mission church to St. Aldhelm, Bedminster. The district was transferred to St. Thomas in 1916. By Order in Council of 5 November 1929 it was made a district chapelry out of St. Aldhelm. |
