The former York City Archives Department and York Reference Library: Local Studies department merged on 1st April 2010 to form this new combined service. The service is still working on a stocktake and relocation of the merged collections and intending users are advised to consult our website or contact the service in advance to find out if material they wish to consult is available for access.
