Fair and reasonable use of Digital Downloads

While there is limited access to our Kew site, digital records are free to download from our website. To download items for free, you must first register or sign in.

You do not need to sign in to proceed to checkout – this step is entirely optional, but by doing so you will avoid being charged a fee.

Registered users will be able to order and download up to 10 items at a time, to a maximum of 100 items over a 30-day period.

We have set this limit to help manage the demand for content, and to ensure the availability of our digital services for everyone.
