Surveys and evidence taken by the Committee on Higher Education (Robbins Committee).

The surveys were conducted by the Central Office of Information and private organisations among students at teacher training colleges, colleges of further education and universities and among university teachers and children born between 1940 and 1951.

The series also includes unpublished evidence put before the committee and a copy of the published report and its appendices and evidence (Cmnd 2154).
