Deeds variously endorsed, 'Clowde', 'Clowde & Camleigh', 'Camleigh & Clowde' and even 'Camleigh', mainly relating to unspec. property in Temple Cloud, Haywood, Hinton Blewett [in parish of Cameley] and Cameley formerly belonging to John Toryngton and eventually vested in Richard Chokke of Stanton Drew; earliest is lease of mess. in Cloud and Haywood in which John Toryngton and his wife lived, reserving one chamber to them; some deeds also involve John Palton, esq., described as lord of Cloud and Haywood.
