This collection was deposited in October 1956 by T H Ashworth.

 

The Reverend Daniel Duck born in 1743, eldest son of Joseph Duck of Ainthorpe, yeoman, and Hannah. He was perpetual curate of Danby, first appearing in the church register in February 1780, though it is possible that he served the parish before that date.

 

A transcript of the diaries prepared by John Davison is held at reference 0077 and articles by him on Duck and his diary at reference 0075.
