Administrative / biographical background: |
The school was built in 1873 in Lyndhurst Road and enlarged in 1886 and 1897. In 1900 it was taken over by Worthing school board and in 1939 it became a junior mixed and infants' school. The school was renamed Homefield County Primary in 1952 and closed in 1960. |
