Articles of agreement for sale of estate of (1) in Isle of Wight to (2) and (3) for £2,613. (2) and (3) agree to pay money to (1) and when William Meux of Cheshunt, co. Hertfordshire, and his wife shall convey the estate to him. All of which premises were by lease and release (dated 4-5 April 1725) conveyed by said William Meux to John Pepys and William Pepys, both of London, goldsmiths, in trust for (1)

 

Messuages called Wackland and Hale (alias Lambsleaze) in parishes of Newchurch and Arreton, now in tenure of Isaac Purcas and Thomas Davies to go to Davies for £1,162 10s

 

Messuage called Lesslands, parish of Godshill, in tenure of Elizabeth Thatcher, widow, to go to White for £1,450 10s
