Description:

Indenture of Sale (by means of a lease for one year and release of which this is the second), being part of the settlement made in view of the intended marriage of Hugh Budden and Jane Good, of houses and lands at Lopsalls, in the parish of Damerham, mentioning particularly Sand Close, Culver Hays. Mays Coppice, Lopsalls Bottom, Lopsalls Wood, Hogs Grove, Lopsall Hill, Little Coppice, Barne Close, New-ground, Hogs Grove Mead and woody ground in Common Lopsall.

 

Principals: George Budden of Damerham or Damerham South and Hugh Budden of Downton, Wilts. (son of George Budden), to Roger Good of Bower Chalk, Wilts, and Charles Good of Stoke, Broad Chalk, Wilts, and John Garret of Alderholt, Cranborn, Dorset, as trustees for Hugh Budden and Jane Good (daughter of Roger Good), etc.
