Catalogue description Letter from [Henry Fitzalan] Lord Mautravers and John Lord Lumley, Arundel Place, to Sir Thomas Cawarden. They request the loan of costumes for a masque from Cawarden. They prefer those for a 'masque of allmayns'. [Printed in Feuillerat, 1914, p. 249 where Mautravers is wrongly identified as the 19th or 12th Earl of Arundel (1512-1580), who succeeded to the earldom in 1552, rather than as the latter's son. Mautravers died in 1556 (G E Cockayne, Complete Peerage, 2nd ed, I, 250-253; DNB, 2nd ed, VII, 88-93). Film Fo 321.214]
