Surrender of a mortgage of a close (2 acres) called Sandhill, parish of Newchurch, then in occupation of Richard Gard, bounded on east by highwayfrom Wroxall to Newcurch, on north with lands of said Richard Gard, on west with lands of Sir Henry Knollys [called Bathingbourne], on south with lands of Sir John Meux [in Princeland] which morgage was made by Richard Gard of Budbridge, parish of Arreton, yeoman, since deceased, on 10 October 1653 to Phillip Casford of Kennerley, parish of Godshill, yeoman

 

(1) Roger Thorne, parish of Arreton, yeoman; Thomas Goter, parish of Shorwell, yeoman; John Jackman, parish of Brighstone, yeoman - executors of will of said Phillip Casford
