Description:

The collection provides a record of Bradfield House, Uffculme, Devon during the mid 19th century. The majority of images show the house during 1853-1854, at a time when John Hayward was remodelling and restoring the property for Sir John Walrond. They show exterior and interior views. The collection is made up of original black and white prints and one drawing. The photographs are a combination of salt paper, albumen and gelatin prints.
