From (a) Sir James Peachey of West Dean, bart, and John Peachey of West Dean, esq., his only son and heir, to (b) James Piggott of Binderton, gentleman, upon trust for (c) Richard Newland the elder of Chichester, gentleman, and Richard Newland the younger of St.Pancras, Chichester, surgeon

 

I Capital messuage, together with buildings and lands belonging thereto (189a), part of the demesne lands of the manor of Stedham, formerly in the occupation of Francis Viscount Montague and Henry Pooke, since of Richard Ayling, and then of Jane Ayling, widow

 

II Piece of coppice or wood ground (5a) adjoining to I in the occupation of the said Sir James Peachey

 

III Water corn mill called Stedham Mill, and the messuage, buildings, and three small pieces of land belonging thereto, in Stedham, formerly in the occupation of Thomas Eldridge and then of Elizabeth Eldridge, widow

 

IV Cottage in Stedham in the occupation of John Cooper

 

By this deed the said property is conveyed to (b) to the use that the said Richard Newland and the elder might receive during his life the annual rent charge of £140 from the said property
