Description:

Devise to Katherine, daughter of testator by his first marriage, and Frances, daughter of testator by his second marriage, of all real and personal estate to be equally divided. To Ann Page, testator's sister an annuity of £60 £20 for mourning, the liberty of inhabiting testator's dwellinghouse in Chichester rent-free. To Mary Floyd, testator's niece, an annuity of £60, £20 for mourning. To Mrs. Elizabeth Leng, kinswoman of testator, £20 for mourning. To Dr. Pettengal and his wife, testator's kinswoman, £15 each for mourning and £10 to each of their children. To Mrs. Ann Riggs, testator's kinswoman, £20 for mourning. To Mr. James Piggott and his wife £15 each for mourning and £10 to each of their children. To the Rev. Smyth of Southall, Bedfordshire, to his wife, testator's kinswoman and to their children the same. To Mr. Ayling of Stedham and his wife £15 each for mourning and to their children, including Katherina Ommaney, £10 each. To those servants who have lived with testator for 20 yrs. £25 each for 15 years £20 each, for 10 years £15 each, for 7 years £10 each, for 5 years £7 each, for 3 years £6 each. To other menial and yearly servants living with testator at the time of his decease £5 each. To William Powel, gardener, and William Tippel, bailiff, 20 guineas each. To day labourers of 10 years standing 10 guineas, of 8 years 8 guineas... and 1 guinea to those employed by testator at the time of his decease. To the poor of Donnington £50. To the poor of Upmarden £25. To the poor of Stoughton £25. To the poor of Compton £20.
