Plan and section of a proposed extension of the Chichester-Midhurst line [see above plan] to join the direct London-Portsmouth line at a point immediately W. of Haslemere station, with a short spur to link this proposed line with the Petersfield-Midhurst railway. Parishes affected, including those falling within the limit of deviation only : Midhurst, Bepton, Woolbeding, Stedham, Iping, Linch, Fernhurst and Linchmere, and Haslemere and Thursley (both co. Surr.). Shows buildings in block plan, fields and woods. The copy of this plan deposited with the Clerk of the Peace, together with two books of reference (one for the proposed main line and one for the spur), is also in W.S.R.O. [QDP/W145]. |
