By John Scutt of Hurstperpoint, gent., to Martha Covert of Chichester, spinster, of the Manor of reputed manor of Berrylands with the royalties, quit rents, heriots &c. rights, members and appurtenances in Kirdford and Petworth and the site of the same manor and all the demeasne lands And all lands called Berrylands Also a messuage, tenement or farm, lands and grounds called Pettesfold in Kirdford Also a messuage, tenement or dwellinghouse and all lands &c. belonging called Downhouse and Five Stiles in Kirdford Also a meadow containing ¾ acre called Stringers Mead in Kirdford adjoining to meadow ground of Mr. Haines, through which is the way to the said mead All late in the tenure of Anthony Ayling and then of Thomas Perrier.
