Folio 105. To: The General Board of Health. From: John Hall and others, Luton [Bedfordshire]. Subject Matter: Petition signed by certain inhabitants of Luton calling attention to the street immediately in front of their dwellings, being in such a filthy state for want of drainage and a proper covering of gravel. Hall explains that in the winter they have great difficulty in reaching their homes, and their families are suffering from ill health. They pray for guidance on this matter. |
