Folio 94: John Fitch, Portsmouth. John Pondford is at Plymouth with a load of culme from Milford for Portsmouth. The Bristol, Ruby and Henry are at Plymouth, but would not convoy him without an order from the Board, which he requests. He asks for protection for William Chappell, Master of the Brotherhood of Lymington, who is carrying culme from Milford for building the docks at Portsmouth. |
