1 collective petition (12 people from Whiteparish, Wiltshire) on behalf of Aaron Stone, labourer, convicted at Wiltshire Special Assizes Salisbury in December 1830 for robbery of 20 shillings. Grounds for clemency: repents crime, promises to make reparation for offence by future good conduct. Initial sentence: transportation for life commuted to 14 years' transportation. KP 15 |
