John Henley of Waldron, husbandman (eldest son and heir of John Henley, late of Washington, yeo., dec'd.) conveyed the property, 19 May 1730, to Edward Parsons of Washington, tailor (no. WISTON/3372). Henry Figg, late of Washington, but now of Storrington, farmer, and Mary his wife, mortgaged it, 11 Nov. 1757, to Felix Fuller of West Chiltington, yeo. (no. WISTON/3373) and conveyed the freehold, 11, 12 Aug. 1762, to Thomas Waters of Houghton, schoolmaster (nos. WISTON/3374, WISTON/3375). It was purchased, 11, 12 June 1777, by William Ayling of Washington, yeo. (nos. WISTON/3376, WISTON/3377), who conveyed it, 7, 8 July 1788, in consideration of £150, to Charles Goring of Wiston, esq. (nos. WISTON/3378, WISTON/3379).

 

(No. WISTON/3375 describes Henry Figgs Wife Mary her as dau. of Roger Parr, late of Washington, farmer, dec'd., by Mary, his wife, who was only dau. and heiress of said Edward Parsons.
