Shows the course of the river Adur, between the two bridges, in blue, with proposed alteration to its course in red. Parishes: West Grinstead and Ashurst. Shows West Grinstead church in conventional elevation. Names Bines Bridge, Ford Farm, Lock Bridge, Hook Child [Hookshile]; Hatrail [Hatterell] and Bay Bridges. Table of reference, giving owners and occupiers, and section, horizontal scale as above, vertical scale 1 in. to 3 ft., of the proposed navigation.
