Title: | To his brother Charles |
Description: |
Thanks for a letter. Blackwood says he may apply for Henry for the vacant lieutenantship on the Euryalus. Is glad Charles has become so perfect a marksman. Con has volunteered for the privateers on board the Diligence Ref. to Nelson's body bursting the cask in which it was confined and the terrified sentinel crying that the Admiral was come to life again ... I believe no man was ever more sincerely regretted by all classes. Remember him kindly to all in Minster Yard as well as at the old Mansion (i.e. Canwick Hall). Portsmouth. |
