Amabel, Wimpole to Jemima

 

Pleased to hear she has attended a ball. The new rooms are decorated and finished at Wimpole. Her mother and father are well, and she has had news that her sister, Lady Grantham, is in good health. Bishop and Mrs James Yorke have been busy, travelling from London to Ely. Mrs Yorke is currently at Lymington, which she describes in a letter. She has received letters from James, [her son], who is enjoying his life at sea. James and Charles Yorke are in Dublin.
