Mortgage from William Pennington of Chester, pipemaker, to John Phillips Carter of Chester, yeoman, of 3 messuages, pipemakers workshops in Love Lane, formerly in the successive tenures of Richard Golding, Samuel Aires, Thomas Aires and William Jackson and then of the said William Pennington, one being empty, to secure repayment of £45. Also assignment from Mary Thomas of Tranmere, Cheshire, widow, at the request of the said William Pennington and at the nomination of the said John Phillips Carter to John Faulkner of Chester, gent., of the same [see ZCR 39/55] to attend the inheritance in trust for the said John Phillips Carter. |
