By SIR WILLIAM FORDE of Harting, knight, and SIR EDWARD FORDE of Harting, knight, son and heir of the said Sir William to GYLES AYLWYN of Southarting, butcher, - for £100 - of a close of land called Masons; one acre being a Coate land, called Hickmans in South Harting between the houses of Constance Stannyford and other houses of South Harting, E. and John Caryll's esq. land, W. and then in lease for 15 years to the said Constance Stannyford at 20s. by the year

 

And also Peter Aylings holte close in Estharting between the holte close of Henry Hargrove, E. and East Harting W. and N., Merden Downe, S., and a close of Henry Crockfords, N., containing 5½ ac

 

And the said Peter Aylings Westfield being near 2 ac. and 1 rood in East Harting between the parishland, W. and a field late Houghtons, N. and East Harting Downe lane, W. and S

 

The last 3 closes of Peter Aylyngs he held by copy of court roll for life of the said Sir William Forde

 

And also one half yard of land sheep common on East Harting Downe and two lott and scott for ½ a yardland for the said two last closes

 

To hold the premises to the said Gyles in fee. Rent 6d. if lawfully demanded
