Will, 28 May 1810.

 

Of the late Rt. Hon. Lady Diana Fleming, of Portugal Street, Grosvenor Square, Middlesex, the widow of Sir Michael le Fleming, late of Rydal, bart., deceased, and the heiress of the Rt. Hon. Thomas, earl of Suffolk and Berkshire, with codicils of 28 May 1810 and 6 August 1814.

 

Bequests of her lands at Skirwith and Kirkland, Cumberland, and Rydal, Westmorland in turst for her daughter Dame Ann Frederica Elizabeth Fleming, and to the heirs of her body, and by default to her late husband's nephew Andrew Fleming Hudleston, and his heirs, and by default to the next heirs, providing they use the Fleming surname and arms, with further bequests of money to the Rev. Thomas Jackson, rector of Grasmere, Ann Atkinson, of Rydal, spinster (for the care of her daughter in infancy), her servant Ann Hodgson of Pimlico, Middlesex, her God-daughter Diana Suart, daughter of James Suart of Ambleside, her other servants, and the poor of Rydal and Grasmere.

 

Trustees and joint executors: Rt. Hon. John, earl of Suffolk and Berkshire, Thomas Lord Viscount Andover, his son, Thomas Lister Parker, of Browseholme Hall, co. Lancaster, est., and Robert Raynsford, of Titchfield St., Middlesex, esq.

 

With probate granted in Prerogative Court of York, 26 April 1817.
