By which he bequeathed unto his son William, in consideration of the settlement on his mother, 1s 0d only; unto his second son, Richard, a field called Smiths Croft, which he had lately purchased, and the sum of £40, payable when his youngest sister came of age; and unto his three daughters, Sarah, Elizabeth and Mary, the sum of £50 each, payable when the youngest came of age, until which time his wife, Sarah, providing she remained a widow, was to enjoy the profits of the said field and the interest of the said monies Will dated 17 October 1739. Witnesses: Robert Sandham, Charles Cutres, and Samuel Walter. Proved at Chichester |
