Recites mortgage, 20 January 1756, by John Hounsome of Liss, co. Hants., yeoman to William Luff of Heyshott, carpenter, for £90 of -

 

Dwellinghouse called Crouch Readen, with barn, gateroom, garden, orchard and 12a. land in Liss, in occ. of Joseph Budd

 

Recites bond, 17 November 1756 in £80 from Richard Faith of Climping, miller, to William Luff

 

Recites that neither the mortgage or the £40 secured by the bond have been repaid

 

Recites will, 1 March 1757, of William Luff

 

Recites that (a) is possessed of property as in Add Mss no. 9346

 

Recites intended marriage of (a) and (b)

 

(a) conveys to (c)

 

Property as in Add Mss no. 9346; newly erected barn, 6a. land called Woodbrookes, 3a. land called Crabbetts Hill, land (1a.) adjoining N. on Graffham Common on which a house formerly stood, 1a. meadow called Oxherds and 4a. called Butbrookes and 3a. called Home Ball all in Woolavington and Graffham, late in occ. of John Ewen and now of Thomas Ayling; property in Liss and the bond described above

 

(a) appoints (c) as her attorney and as her trustee to hold the properties to her use, separate from (b), and to the use of her will
