Feoffment made by him to John Aley, of Clonaghe, co. Kildare, and to Arthur Aley, of the same, of all his lands and possessions in Ireland, and to their heirs for ever, 17 February 1579, 22 Eliz. The meaning of this feoffment is, that the feoffees shall be seized of the said lands to the use of Sir William, and after his decease to the use of his eldest son, John O'Carroll, during his life; further, to the use of Caloughe O'Carroll, son of the said Sir William by Morny Dulcante, and his heirs males, &c.
