Copies, in hands of Mary, Countess Cowper, of various writings of Sarah, Duchess of Marlborough, relating to her quarrel with Queen Anne, including: an account of a conversation with the Queen when it appeared plainly that she did not intend to keep her promise to the Duchess to let her resign her employment to her children; an account of Mrs Masham's ingratitude to the Duchess, "but not a tenth part of what has happened" [including copies of letters exchanged between the Duchess and Mrs Masham]; and an account of Mrs Masham's taking the Duchess's lodgings at Kensington
