By Roger COLPIS of Petersfield, husbandman, JOHN COLPIS, his eldest son, and ANTHONY COLPIS of Petersfield, husbandman, to GYLES AYLING of Southharting, butcher, - for £8 - of a Lease date 1 April, 1639, by Sir William Ford to Robert Colpis late of Harting, husbandman and Mary his wife and the said Roger, John and Anthony Colpis of a cottage and garden plot containing 20 p. lying by the highway South Harting E., then in the occupation of the said Roger Colpis

 

To hold to the said Robert Colpis for his life, then to the said Mary for her life then to the said John and Anthony for their lives Successively, Rent 5s. yearly
