Now numbered Collection 4, this collection consists of copies of documents relating to Plymouth, most of which are not held in Plymouth

 

Details and technical specifications of many of the maps, plans and charts held as photocopies can be found in 'Lost Landscapes of Plymouth: Maps, Charts and Plans to 1800' by Elizabeth Stuart [1991] which can be found on the Active Archives bookshelves. These include colour reproductions of some of the documents

 

Included in the collection is a series of photocopies relating to the Bellamy family, especially Dr George Bellamy, a major of Plymouth; a series of copies of photographs of railways in the Plymouth area; copies of correspondence of the Corsini; brothers; copies of election papers and material including copies of photographs and other documents relating to the Cory family of Wembury
