Administrative / biographical background: |
Most of the documents relate to property owned by the parish and to the various bodies (Vestry, Trustees, Feoffees) which administered these estates, and they include deeds, plans and correspondence. Other material was probably added to the collection in order to store it safely after the Blitz of November 1940 destroyed the Church. Temple is also known as Holy Cross. |
