Between Abraham Hinchcliffe of Kirkstall, Gent, of the one part, and John Stanhope the younger of Horsforth, Esq., George Bannister ---- (?), and George Bannister his younger son and heir, and Henry Stanhope of Leeds, Gent, of the other part; in consideration of a marriage between Abraham Hinchcliffe and Tabitha Bannister; and re a messuage or mansion called Kirkstall Bargrange, with an orchard, a garth called the ----- Garth, in Headingley, and 2 water corn mills called Kirkstall Bargrange Mills, and a kiln, and a fulling mill adjoining in Headingley, and 2 other fulling mills, and a cottage called Dyson's House in Headingley and Burley, and closes called Milne Garth, the Inge called Dyson Ing, and the Goat Ing, and part of Dyson's Farm, and a close called Abbey Croft, and closes called Well Croft, Horse Close, Dam Ing, Burley Hill Close, Burley Hills, 2 Plain Closes, 2 Greenroyds, Flower Banks, Calf Close, Stonehill Closes, Lindleyes and Lindley Wood, and a ruined water corn mill called Abbey Mill in Kirkstall Abbey Yard, all in Headingley, Burley and Kirkstall, and another messuage called Dawson's Farm, with a croft, and closes called Little Ing, Jordan Ing, Dawson Wood, Light Carrs, and Brown Farm, and a messuage called Toppans Farm, with closes called 2 Ley Closes, Swing Royd, Little Burgans, and Andrew Royd, all in Headingley, Kirkstall and Burley, and also a capital messuage and 2 cottages at Kirkstall Bridge called Bargrange etc.
