Unpublished finding aids:

Most of these records, formerly in the muniment room at Grittleton House, are described in a series of schedules compiled by Canon J.E. Jackson (JEJ) and the legal firms of Gabriel Goldney (GG), Pinniger and Awdry (P and A) and Mullings and Co. (Mullings) (1305/304-307 below). The amount of detail given in the schedules is variable, but usually consists of the date of each deed and the names of the parties to it. The schedules thus form a good guide to the contents of most bundles. It should also be noted that there is a good deal in the schedules about deeds no longer present, especially those of the extensive estates of the Neeld family round Purton.
