Lease for 30 years by Richard Cleche, Thomas Carpenter, William Wattis, William Justice, John Hopton', Nicholas Hyde, Richard Turner, Richard A Man', John Rede, John Barfote, Richard Barnys, William Davye and William Edmunde, feoffees of all the lands and tenements left by John Leche, als John A Larder in the borough of Reading, to John Yevendon' of Reading, tanner, of two tenements with adjoining gardens : one on the east side of Old Street in Reading between the tenements called the Almshouses on the north side and the tenement of the abbot and convent of the monastery of Reading on the south side with the adjoining garden and the other tenement and garden on the south side of Castle Street in Reading between the ground of William Notte on the west side and the tenement of William Justice [Justyce] on the east side, rendering 23s 4d twice a year at the feasts of Michaelmas and Lady Day in equal proportions. John Yevendon is to pay all rents and charges and to repair and maintain the tenements. Power of distraint and distress is granted to the feoffees
