Copy of a settlement of £24,000 the portion of the Lady Charlotte de la Tremouille who was contracted to be married to James Lord Strange at the Hague on 4th July, 1626. The money is to be laid out in the purchase of lands in England to be settled on the Earl and Countess with particular limitations. This is a copy attested by the Seneschall, Procurator fiscal and Greffier of Saumur, on the 9th January, 1652.
