The reversion of a windmill in Broadholme and all lands meadows and pastures in Milfield, longefurlonge and Riefield late parcel of Broadholme priory which had been leased by Edward VI under the seal of the court of Augmentations to William Mounson of Carlton esq. for 21 years, 19th March 1551/2 at a rent of £20 2 8d, together with a rent of £9 13 4d. part of the same rent;

 

The reversion of the rectory of Cobham co. Surrey formerly the property of a chantry of St. Pauls London, leased by King Edward VI for 21 years at a rent of £6 6s 8d. 21 May 1552 to William James;

 

Also the reversion of the rectory of Carhampton in Somerset late of Dunster priory which was leased by King Edward VI to John Waldron gent. at a rent of £14 6s. for 21 years 26th May 1551;

 

Also the reversion of a messuage and lands in Horsington co. Lincoln in the tenure of Alexander Scott, Richard Brown and Christopher Robinson formerly of Stixwold priory for 21 years to John Davys at a rent of 30s., 13th April 1553;

 

Also the reversion of messuages and lands in Horsington in occup.

 

Thomas Davyson and John Skynner to Thomas Burgh for 21 years at a rent of 10s. for one and 18s. for the other, 9th April 1553;

 

Five Horsington properties in the occup. of Robert Smythe, John Barker, Richard Peycock, Richard Browne and Christopher Robinson;

 

Also the reversion of the rectory of Eldersfield co. Worc. late of Malvern Priory to John Heydon gent. and Lucy his wife for the term of their lives without rent, 29th October 1552.

 

Followed by the separate setting out of the properties now being given, and the rents named for the present grant.

 

Then the further grants: the advowsons of Ashow co. Warwick, Hareby co. Lincoln, tithes in the fields of 3 hamlets in the parish of Stonelegh co. Warwick late of the monastery of Kenilworth;

 

Also tithes in Hough late the property of Mount Grace in the occup. of Thomas Andelyn;

 

Also a rent of 30s. 8d. in Meston co. Leic. formerly of the cell of Belvoir annexed to St. Albans abbey;

 

Also the tithes in yearly value of 9s. a year in Harston formerly the property of Belvoir;

 

Also the rectory of Nynehead co. Somerset and a yearly rent of £7 in the occup. of Thomas Huysshe late of the monastery of Taunton and 40 measures of rye received from the tenants of Holcombe or 6d. for each measure and a rent of 20d. for the demesne manor let to farm to Ralph Lambe for a term of years formerly of the monastery of Taunton, also the advowson of Tyneham co. Dorset.

Physical condition: Great seal on black and white silk cords. 2 skins, a fine drawing, portrait of the queen in the initial letter and decorations of devices based on the royal arms along the top of the first skin.
