Catalogue description ICI Personnel Files & Trade Unions [Closed for 50 years]

This is the residue from a major exercise to reduce the accumulated Registry files from the various Billingham and Wilton personnel departments to a small fraction of their original size. All sensitive personal references have been removed and the company has retained a few items of continuing relevance. The remaining files cover industrial relations and personnel management issues. There are sensitivities in the more recent material, hence the closure.
Boxes marked Trade Unions are earlier and probably relate to Wilton, boxes marked Personnel Files were held at Billingham and probably relate to both Billingham and Wilton. Pre 1980 files are from Billingham Personnel Registry Archive.
