Thomas Lelean, master, and William Penrose, mariner, of the ship Industry, testified that they shipped 15 tons of white salt at Bristol, duty paid, on 28 October, to be carried to Fowey, St Austell, Looe, Lostwithiel and Par, for John Courter, Jonah Isabell, Samuel May, William Bower, John Williams, Susanna Emmett and Jacob Borlase, and that the salt was lost due to stormy weather.
