Title: Diary
Description:

(This year witnesses Henrietta leading a very peripatetic existence; the household of Henrietta, her brother George & her sister-in-law, so recently settled in Clapham, is necessitated into a second move, to lodgings in Marylebone St., in July, & yet a third, to Somerset St., in October. Henrietta, who has been expecting to accompany her brother, his wife, & their new baby to New Zealand, changes her mind at the last minute & bids them farewell without her in the November, leaving herself more-or-less homeless again. Despite, however, her new found domestic duties this year, she maintains throughout a heavy involvement with St.Anne's church, the Sunday School classes, & affiliated functions: there is a slight shift of emphasis in her circle but contact is still maintained with the Beaufoy family, and in November some light is shed on the reasons for Aunt George's cool attitude which first revealed itself the previous year).
