Richard de Brayleghe, Dean of Exeter Cathedral = (1)

 

Master Michael Kerneck, rector of Phillack church = (2)

 

Receipt by (1), in the name of the Dean and Chapter of Exeter cathedral, of 10s from (2); (1) has waived 5s of the 35s which (2) had stood condemned to pay, for expenses incurred in court of Arches in London (pro expens' in curia de arcubus London' factis).

Note:

Michael de Kernek was instituted to Phillack church in 1332, and was dead by 1347 or just before; the Arundells were the patrons on both occasions: Grandisson, III, pp. 1288 and 1361.
