Award of William Babyngton, Chief Justice of Common Pleas and John Cokayne, justice, on dispute between the mayor, bailiffs and burgesses of Bedford, and other men of Bedford who are not burgesses as to the payment of the expenses of the two burgesses attending parliament; 4 burgesses and two non burgesses are to be chosen to supervise the levy on allthe inhabitants of the £11.3.0 outstanding from the last parliament; this method to apply to all future taxes, and expenses, if the contents of the common chest are not sufficient Latin 2 seals
