Maurice de Berchal' [Berkeley] son of Robert, son of Harding, to Adam son of Nigel, son of Arthur, Maurice's nephew.

 

Gift which donor's father made to the father of Adam and Aldeva, the donor's sister and wife of Nigel, from the land of Kingescot', that Adam and his heirs may hold the manor of Kingescot for ½ knight's service. Maurice has taken homage of Adam for the land.
