The Pinner Gas Company was originally a private company formed by C.C. & W.T. Walker as the Pinner Gas Company Ltd c. 1868. It became statutory in 1881. The works were built on Eastcote (formerly Bridle) Road. The works consisted of horizontal retorts and CWG plant. In 1930 the Gas Light & Coke Co. took over the Pinner company and closed the work the following year
