Title: Register of baptisms, marriages and burials

Briefs 1724; 1733-1747. There are a large number of marriages of non-parishioners. Among the burial entries is a note of the death of Henry Trigg of Stevenage at Letchworth in 1724, and a crossed-out reference to the depositing of his body in the roof of a barn at Stevenage in accordance with the terms of his will. At the beginning of the register is a brief note of a tempest which caused many accidents at Weston, 1806. The original cover of this paper register, consisting of part of a parchment deed to which William James and Warner South are parties, is retained inside the volume which was rebound in 1938
